SUMMER CLASS REGISTRATION OPENS JUNE 24TH AT 8PM
Handbuilding classes will begin July 7, and run through August 27
Wheel classes will begin July 13 and run through September 4
Mondays 6-8 pm: Beginner Wheel with Kate
Tuesdays 6-8 pm: Beginner Handbuilding with Tiff
Wednesdays 6-8 pm: Sculptural Handbuilding with Tiff
Thursdays 6-8 pm: Experimental Wheel with Kate
Fridays 2-4 pm: Beginner Wheel with Kate
SCULPTURE: Open to all levels of experience! You’ll learn to apply all kinds of handbuilding techniques to sculpture.
EXPERIMENTAL WHEEL: Good for anyone from 102 to intermediate level potters! This is a new class at Morehouse 🥳 we’ll play with new shapes on the wheel, combine basic handbuilding and wheel, and try out new techniques in all areas of pottery.
WHAT CLASS LEVEL IS RIGHT FOR YOU?
BEGINNER: You’re a beginner or want to start from the beginning!
102: You’ve taken a beginner class before but feel like you need more help to be confident with the basics.
Wheel: You’re familiar with centering, pulling walls, trimming, and glazing, but feel like you’re still struggling or want to go deeper
Handbuilding: You’re familiar with pinch pots, coil building, and slab building
INTERMEDIATE: You feel confident with all the basics and want to branch out and try new techniques.
Wheel: You can center 2+ pounds and are confident with pulling walls, trimming, and glazing
Handbuilding: You’re confident with pinch pots, coil building, slab building, sculpting, and over forms.
