DATES: Jan. 10 - Feb. 28, 2025

In this eight week class you’ll get to experiment with handbuilding techniques and grow your sculpting skills! This class is open to all levels - some clay experience may be helpful, but is not required.

Classes meet once a week for 2 hour sessions, with open studio time daily for you to practice on your own.

In each class session, you will build on what you learned and made the previous week, so we strongly advise you to make sure you’ll be able to attend all class sessions before signing up.

This class is for you if:

-You want to learn how to use handbuilding techniques to make sculptural forms

-You are anywhere from a beginner to an intermediate handbuilder - some experience with clay may be beneficial, but is not required

Class Includes:

• 8 weeks of 2 hour classes

• 1 bag of clay

• 2 rounds of firing all your pieces

• Access to all the Morehouse glazes

• Open studio hours to practice/play/work on pieces

• Two weeks after classes to finish up all your work

Materials

• Your first bag of clay comes with the class!

• Basic tools are included (or bring your own)

• Wear clothes you’re comfortable getting clay on - we have aprons to help, but they only go so far.

*Additional clay will be $40 per bag, this includes firing pieces and glazing.
