WE HAVE 3 TYPES OF CLAY AT THE MOMENT

Brown Speckled

C/6Plastic clay for wheel and modeling. Granular manganese gives speckled surface. Ideal temperature for best color is C/5. Good in oxidation or reduction firing.

C/6 Shrinkage 11.0% Absorption 2.25%

White Stoneware

Fired at cone 6, high fire for our studio. Standard 182

Cone 6 shrinkage is about 11% and absorption 2.5%.

Porcelain

Fired to cone 6 oxidation. An excellent domestic porcelain with considerable strength and plasticity.

C/6 Shrinkage 12% and absorption 1.7%.
