THIS WORKSHOP WILL BE HELD ON LOCATION AT POTTER'S CIDER, NOT MOREHOUSE STUDIO

Morehouse is excited to collaborate with Savory Blends Tea Co. for this two-for-one tea experience! First, Lori will walk you through crafting your own custom tea blend, then we will help you hand build a ceramic tea strainer. We’ll break in the middle with enough time to grab a delicious lunch or cider from the Potter’s menu. It’s the perfect cozy Valentine’s (or Galentine’s) experience for the tea lovers in your life!

Savory Blends tea workshop:

Our workshops are not your average affair—they're lively, interactive sessions with a delightful tea party twist. This workshop is perfect for tea lovers & tea newbies.  Participants get to mingle, sample various teas, play tea pairing games, and even create their own custom blends—all while learning about the benefits of different teas and ingredients.

In this workshop, you will blend, name, and package your tea to take home with you.  You'll also have the chance to play with simple syrup flavors to add some flair to your cup! All supplies/materials are provided.

Morehouse handbuilding workshop:

Try your hand at handbuilding with this beginner-friendly workshop! We’ll walk you through every step and teach you all the skills and techniques you need to make an adorable and functional tea strainer to brew your custom tea blend.

This Workshop includes:

• 1 Slab of clay

• Everything you need to make a tea strainer!

• Two rounds of firing

• Your choice of glaze

• A finished piece ready for pickup in 4-8 weeks

Please note: From time to time a piece will break during the firing process, and in that case we will give you a piece made by one of our artists in your chosen glaze.

This purchase is good for one student spot for both halves of the workshop. Each individual must purchase a workshop in order to participate in the class.
